Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data dngioi.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. The site is run by Gioi Doan, who is responsible for your data. Contact: gioidoan00.vn@gmail.com.

It is written to follow Vietnam's Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection, and the common principles of laws like the EU GDPR.

What I collect

• Name, email address and profile picture, from Google or Facebook when you sign in: to create your account, show your name next to your posts, and contact you about your account.
• What you post (discussions, comments, files): to show it on the site, to the audience you chose.
• Last sign-in time and account status: to keep the site secure and to moderate it.
• Technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, errors), on every visit: to run and protect the site; kept for a short time.

I don't use analytics, advertising or tracking services, and I don't sell or rent your data.

Browser storage (cookies)

The site only stores what sign-in needs (your sign-in session, kept by Firebase in your browser). There are no analytics or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner. Signing out removes the session.

Who processes your data for me

• Google Firebase (sign-in), and Meta/Facebook if you choose to sign in with Facebook.
• Cloudflare R2 (storage for uploaded files).
• The server that hosts the site and its database.

These providers may store data outside Vietnam. They process it only to provide their service to the site.

Who can see what

• Public content can be seen by anyone, including search engines.
• Content in signed-in-only places is visible to signed-in members.
• Your email address is never shown to other members.
• I (the site's host) can see account details to run and moderate the site.

How long I keep it

• Your account data: until you delete your account.
• Deleted files: removed from storage within 7 days.
• Technical logs and backups: a limited time, after which they are deleted or overwritten.

Your rights

You can:

• see and correct your data: your profile is in Account;
• delete your account in Account → Settings: your name, email, picture and files are erased; what you wrote stays, shown as "[deleted user]". To have specific posts removed as well, delete them first, or write to me;
• ask for a copy of your data, object to a use, or withdraw consent, by writing to gioidoan00.vn@gmail.com.

I answer requests within the time the law requires (normally within 72 hours to acknowledge, and as soon as practical to complete). You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country (in Vietnam, the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention, A05, Ministry of Public Security).

Children

The site is not meant for children under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, please tell me and I'll remove it.

Changes

I may update this policy. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version; important changes will be announced on the site.
